It is totally allowed in Islam to perform Hijama in the month of Ramazan when the patient is fasting or in Roza
It was narrated in al-Bukhari, that Umm ‘Alqamah said,
“We used to be cupped at ‘Aishah’s place and we were not
forbidden.” She also said, “We used to be cupped at
‘Aishah’s place while we were observing fast and her
nephews were present and she did not forbid them.”
This shows that ‘Aishah, the knowledgeable wife of the Prophet
(sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and those around her are certain that cupping
does not break the fast.
Ibn ‘Umar, who is known for his firm adherence to the sunnah of Prophet
Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is said – in al-Bukhari- to have been
cupped while observing the fast. Then he stopped doing that when he became
old because of weakness.
